Danny Trent - Principal
Biography Danny is entering his 16th year in education. He has approximately 30 years of leadership experience in business and education. He has served as a teacher at Halls Middle, Assistant Principal at Carter Middle, and Principal at Carter Middle as well as Karns Middle School. He has served in several leadership capacities at the local, state, and national level. He has been married over 20 years to his lovely wife , Karen, a kindergarten teacher at Farragut Primary. They have three daughters, Danyelle (freshmen at Carson-Newman, Lauren-junior at HVA, and Madison, a freshmen at HVA. He is excited about the opportunity to serve as Principal at Central High School and looks forward to establishing positive relationships with all stakeholders as Central continues to expand on the Bobcat Pride and Tradition.
Charlie Sheets - Athletic Director & Assistant Principal
Biography: Charles Sheets comes to us after 32 years in education in Georgia. He has 20 years experience as an assistant principal/athletic director in high schools that ranged in size from 1400 students to 2200 students. Originally a Smithwood/Fountain City boy (he attended Smithwood Baptist Church) his family moved to Atlanta when he was a boy.
Kim Gray - Assistant Principal
Biography: This past year Kim Gray served as an assistant principal at Central High School. Ms. Gray brings to this position 20 years of special education experience in the Knox County School System. For fifteen years, Ms. Gray also served as area director for Special Olympics Knoxville and assistant athletic trainer at Karns High School.
Jane Grey Browning - Assistant Principal
Biography: Extending from the middle school to the collegiate ranks, Jane Grey Browning brings 19 years of teaching and leadership experience to Central High School. Most recently, Ms. Browning served as an Assistant Principal in the Mounds View School District in Minnesota. Ms. Browning, a North Carolina native, brings a vast array of leadership to Central High School.
Nadriene Jackson - Assistant Principal
Biography: Nadriene Jackson joins the Administrative team of Central High School, after having worked as the Parent Resource/Dropout Prevention Coordinator for Walton County Public Schools, Monroe, Georgia. She has served in other leadership capacities such as Teacher Intervention Specialist and After School Programs Coordinator. Mrs. Jackson, a former classroom teacher, brings a plethora of leadership experience to Central High School, having worked with all grade levels - elementary, middle, and high.
